Laurie James Cope - Artist
Laurie (b.1998) is a London-based artist who's work explores story-telling, technology and catastrophe. He practices; oil-painting, ink, moving-image, CGI, pastel and through writing fiction he established a futuristic-feudal setting for his projects.Over the past seven years he produced an anthology of stories, through image and word. Each year he produced a sketchbook, developed paintings and expanded his research. These six books were dismantled and traditionally rebound by his partner.Laurie’s books include maps, portraits, landscape views and more precise renderings of scenes and experiences accompanied by extensive explanatory texts. The physical manipulation invites a heightened sensation of discovery.

Laurie James Cope (b. 1998) is an artist and Computer Animation graduate from the University of South Wales. He has worked commercially at post-production visual effect studios, on episodic & film projects for companies such as; Disney, Netflix and Amazon.
